Music

Here’s a tune from ‘79, redone in ‘24 cause I fixed a couple lines and decided it needed some blues harp.

What with the Hyperloop being dead and all, here’s a song I recorded right inside it!

From CDs:

From What’s Up Down There, 2018.

From What’s Up Down There, 2018.

From Burning My Cashmere, 2004

Improvisations:

‘Approximations’ are about halfway between a piece and a free improvisation. This is one of those, from 2019.

Semi-improvisation from 2015. Mikey the cat liked to lie on the piano while I played.

Free Improvisation, 1989.

Here’s a old demo I found:

Bed Time, 1990. A genuine kid-tested lullaby! There’s a better version out there on piano.

Old compositions:

A short piece from 1980. There were a lot of those, some more precisely defined than others.

Another from around then.

While I was working on "Solo Piano in an Otherwise Quiet Room", the composer Dylan Champagne arrived, offering a series of improvised percussive enhancements that left me no choice but to change the title.

1979. part exercise, part meditation.
